We are looking for a motivated individual with a high level of customer service skills gained within a very busy office environment for the following roles.

Marketing Manager

 

We are searching for a hard working, conscientious individual to work in a busy office for a highly established lettings business. ARLA qualified individuals are desirable, although not essential. Previous experience in lettings essential.

The role will be interesting, varied and include duties such as

  • Identify opportunities to drive the business forward.
  • Creating marketing strategies to bring in new business and increase the property portfolio.
  • Carry out property valuations
  • Liaise with new & existing landlords & tenants by phone, email and face to face
  • Organise the erection and collection of TO LET boards
  • Create property details for all properties, ensuring they are always up to date with correct price and availability
  • Keep all properties on the websites up to date
  • Create the newspaper adverts each week, ensuring they are varied and enticing
  • Give feedback to all landlords on a regular basis
  • Keep the main Luff Associates website up to date with the latest news and advice
  • Take photos of all new properties and existing ones when required, as well as any additional improvements and compressing to ensure they look their best when uploaded to websites
  • Answering and dealing with telephone and e-mail enquiries
  • Assist with property viewings where necessary

KEY SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Be enthusiastic
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to deal with people at all levels
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Photoshop and Illustrator are essential
  • Good administration skills 
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent time management
  • A pro-active manner with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident and assertive
  • Able to work as a team member as well as an individual 
  • A full clean driving licence. Pool car provided so must be able to drive a manual car and be over 25 years old.
  • Knowledge of residential lettings is imperative

Property Inspector

Luff Associates require a second Property Inspector to assist with the hugely increased property portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the leading Letting Agent in the area.

Hours: Part time, set 4 days per week, 9.00am – 5.00pm and Saturday (one in four) 9.00am - 3.00pm

Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage. Must have a good eye for detail and able to work without supervision. Needs to be organised, have common sense and a good understanding of property maintenance.

Must be able to communicate well face to face and over the phone

        • Computer literate: Word & Outlook essential. 
        • Pool car provided so must be able to drive a manual car and be over 25 years old.
        • Confident with burglar alarms, entry systems and keys
        • Good sense of direction, sat navs available but a good knowledge of the area would be an advantage
        • Main area covered: 10 mile radius of Camberley
        • Non-smoker.

Job Specification

        • Diarise approx 130 property visits per month, organised geographically
        • Carry out visits and make inspection notes
        • Input visit notes onto in house system (C.A.R.L)
        • Follow up visits by instructing works and arranging quotes as required
        • Notifying landlords as necessary
        • Write to tenants as necessary
        • Other adhoc tasks as required such as key cutting, meter readings etc

VIEWING ASSISTANT - PART TIME

The Role:

        •  Arrange and carry out viewings 
        •  Answering the telephone and speaking to clients 
        •  Landlord feedback 

Skills Required:

        •  Previous Lettings experience preferred but not essential 
        •  Must have a full, clean UK driving licence (Pool car will be supplied for viewings - manual gearbox only) 
        •  Computer literacy imperative including understanding of Microsoft Word and Outlook (Full training will be provided for all 
            in-house systems and general administration) 
        •  Excellent communications and interpersonal skills 
        •  Able to use own initiative 
        •  Ability to work as part of a team

Salary is competitive and is negotiable depending on experience. There is also opportunities to work extra days when available.

NEGOTIATOR JOB ROLE

The Role:

        •  Carry out valuations and convert to instructions 
        •  Chase valuations, withdrawn properties and re-lets 
        •  Answering the telephone and speaking to clients 
        •  Source properties and generate new business 
        •  General administration work 
        •  Arrange and carry out viewings 
        •  Landlord feedback  

Skills Required:

        •  Target driven 
        •  Sales and negotiating skills 
        •  Able to use own initiative 
        •  Ability to work as part of a team 
        •  Excellent communications and interpersonal skills 
        •  Property background essential 
        •  Diary Management 
        •  Computer literacy imperative, including proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Full training will be provided for all 
            in-house systems and general administration) 
        •  Proven sales track record

Other Requirements:

Must be well presented and have a full UK driving licence
